More than 200 Serbs were killed in Kosovo since the deployment of KFOR

Member of the Church-people's Council Dusan Ristic said that more than 200 Serbs were killed by ethnic Albanians since the deployment of KFOR and establishment of UN's peace mission in Kosovo and Metohija. "During the last 20 days more than 50 people were killed in Pristina and surroundings", said Ristic. "Most of them were in their houses or on their estates, protecting their belongings."
Church-people's Council in Gnjilane said today that Milorad Peric (age 68) was beaten to death. Peric was kidnapped two days ago, and after being beaten and tortured he was left on the street where KFOR troopers found him and took him to the hospital where he died. Same sources state that in the village of Paralova, Branko Denic and Vojislav Denic, killed in an attack of a larger number of armed Albanians on the village, were buried today.
KFOR soldiers are securing aid distribution to the Serbs in Pristina for the first time today. The aid is provided by the Serbian Orthodox Church and is distributed by members of the Church-people's Council. During the last few days aid Albanians constantly attacked workers thus preventing the aid distribution.
