Kosovo & Metohia Events
Belgrade, August 20, 1999

KFOR has disarmed neither terrorist organization KLA, nor other Albanian terrorist groups in Kosovo and Metohia; they continue to kill and kidnap the Serbs and other non-Albanian inhabitants in the region, to plunder their property and set their houses on fire.
This morning, KFOR soldiers of the German contingent have arrested in Orahovac, on the basis of the Albanians' accusation, four Serbs: Andjelko Kolasinac - ex president of the municipality of Orahovac, doctor Vekoslav Simic, Dejan Micic and Stanko Levic. The Albanians reported these four men to KFOR, stating that they had taken part in the fights against the Albanian terrorists during NATO aggression on Yugoslavia, which is - in their opinion - a war crime. KFOR intends to take these four men into the Hague. The Serbs from Orahovac have addressed a letter to the UN Civil Mission and to KFOR, asking that the German soldiers release these four arrested Serbs; otherwise, the remaining two thousand Serbs will move out of Orahovac.
Last night, the Serbian houses in Pristina were again attacked with bombs.
The Albanian terrorists set on flames three Serbian houses in Prizren last night, but since KFOR soldiers were late when extinguishing fire, about twenty Serbian houses burned down in this ferocious and destructive blaze.
Last night, the Albanians terrorists cast two grenades and two Molotov cocktails at the Serbian Orthodox church in Djakovica. Consequently, the church was significantly damaged.
The Albanians have beaten today in Gnjilane Tomislav Serafimovic and his sister Dragana. They robbed Miroslav Djordjevic's house, as well as Zivojin Stosic's house, which they set on fire afterwards.
Vranje Bishop Pahomije has served the Liturgy in Gracanica monastery. After the Liturgy he has traveled to Devic monastery near Srbica.
On August 19, the Holy Day of Transfiguration of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Abbot of St. Marco's monastery near Prizren, hieromonk Miron Kosac and priest Aleksandar Naspalic visited Korisa village, where the Serbian houses were burned down and the Serbian graveyard was completely destroyed.
Dragan Stevanovic (aged 42) from Kosovo Polje and Ivan Majstorovic (aged 18) from Pristina disappeared on the road Pristina-Podujevo.
Zorka Zizic (aged 74), whom the Albanians killed in Pristina couple of days ago, has been buried in Kosovo Polje today.
