Kosovo & Metohia Events

According to the report obtained from the Church-National Board in Gnjilane (and conveyed by the amateur radio operators), Zivko Naskovic (aged 56) and his wife Leposava were killed by the Albanians in Kmetovce village near Gnjilane, yesterday, on September 9, around 13:00. They were killed in a tractor while going towards Pancelo village to visit Zivko's ill sister.

The Albanians threw Molotov cocktail through the window of Dobrivoj Ristic's house in Gnjilane. Due to this, fire destroyed the window and the greatest part of the furniture in the house. Fortunately, the dwellers were not hurt since they were in the other room when the attack happened.

The Albanians in Gnjilane beat Zora Stojanovic, an old woman aged 70 with no family, who the Albanians attacked many times earlier in order to force her leave her house and thus allow them to seize possession of her estate. The criminals again stoned Tomislav Ilic's house and pushed Vidosava Zubic out of the Medical Centre just because she is a Serbian.

An event that happened 55 days ago was registered yesterday in Gnjilane. An eleven-year-old Serbian girl Nevena Novakovic and a dentist Verica Stevic were the victims of the Albanian terror.

Father Ilija Smigic, the priest of Prizren parish, has informed Pravoslavlje Press that there are eleven Serbs left in Zivinjane village (district of Sredac, 8 km to the south-east of Prizren). Those are: Vojislav Stojanovic, Cvetko Ilic, Nadezda Ilic, Cvetka Stojanovic, Srbinka Savic, Todor Savic, Vera Stojanovic, Zoran Milosavljevic, Stevanka Jakovljevic, Stojana Milosavljevic and Srboljub Stojanovic. All of them are in good health condition. Cvetko regularly goes to Recane village to obtain food for all of them.

The Albanians strive to occupy the remaining Serbian enclaves. Yesterday, they attacked the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica. During this attack, in which they used bombs and grenade launchers, they hurt thirty-three Serbs and a large number of the French soldiers of KFOR, who were earnestly trying to stop the rampaging of the Albanian terrorist.
