Monk David Perovic received two KFOR officers of the Spanish contingent in the Monastery of the Patriarchate of Pec today, and informed them on the destruction of the Serbs in this area. He advised Pravoslavlje Press that they promised to visit and investigate the place called Jama ("the Pit") near Istok, tomorrow, on September 17. According to the testimony of some reliable people, the corpses of about twenty killed Serbs, including hieromonk Stefan, are cast into this place.
Belgrade Events
The book Crucified Kosovo, exhibiting destroyed churches and monasteries of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo and Metohia, was presented today, at 14:00, in the hall of the Belgrade City Assembly. The speakers at this presentation were: His Holiness Pavle - the Serbian Patriarch, Mr Milan Bozic - vice-president of the Executive Board of the City Assembly, Rt. Rev. Amfilohije - the Metropolitan of Crna Gora and Primorje, Rt. Rev. Artemije - the Bishop of Raska and Prizren, Rt. Rev. Atanasije - the Bishop of Hvosno, and Mr Ljubisa Folic - an expert for the church architecture.
