His Holiness Pavle, the Serbian Patriarch, served yesterday the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Gorazdevac village, in which many Serbs still live. After the Liturgy, the Patriarch talked with the faithful and gave gifts - icons to the children.

His Holiness Pavle, the Serbian Patriarch, served this morning the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Monastery of the Patriarchate of Pec. This evening, he arrived in Belgrade. His visit to Kosovo and Metohia, which lasted for couple of days, was thus completed.

Today, on the Holy Day of Exaltation of the Life-Giving Cross, priest Ilija Smigic visited the District of Sredac near Prizren, namely the following villages: Musnikovo, Zivinjane, Planjane, Drajcici etc. According to his report to Pravoslavlje Press, the remaining Serbs in this area are pretty scared. The Albanians barge into Serbian houses every day, plunder them and threaten the Serbs. The Serbs do not trust KFOR, since it did not stop these criminal and violent acts. KFOR soldiers patrol once or twice a day through these villages, but that is not enough. Many people are ill, in need of medical treatment or medicines.

There are only two children in Musnikovo village; they do not attend their primary school, since there is no teacher in the school.

In Drajcici village, there are thirteen children in the primary school, but they do not attend it either. However, the parents of these children want their children to educate, even if necessary to go to Brezovica. A certain number of Drajcici villagers said they wanted to leave the village.

There are nine Serbs in Zivinjane village. The same number remained in Planjane village.

The list of the people of the Serbian nationality in Musnikovo village: Ugarevic Serafinka and Vekomir; Veljkovic Veselin and Ruza; Ljubisavljevic Milorad, Dusanka, Bogoljub, Viska, Olga and Jordanka; Savic Andjelko and Golupka; kovic Mirko and Mara; Zrakic Kosara; Sinadinovic Pavle; Jovanovic Vojislav and Veselinka; Slavkovic Radosav and Natalija; Stojkovic Krstana, Zoran and Veseli; Djurdjevic Vasiljka; Markovic Budimir and Stanislavka; Slavkovic Vojislav, Stoja and Dobrivoje; Stankovic Ratko and Bozidarka; Mitrovic Slobodan, Stanija and Zivomirka; Tomic Zagorka; Nedeljkovic Nedeljko and Svatija; Tanaskovic Slobodan and Primislav; Mircevic Slobodan and Ruza; Nikolic Veselinka and Zdenka; Aleksic Stevka; Mladenovic Primislav and Stana; Ugrinovic Nikola, Slavko (or Slavka) and Leposava; Todorovic Veselin and Stana; Ilic Desanka and Vojka; Petrovic Ratka, Stanislav, Zorica, Sinisa and Petar; Nestorovic Stanislav and Sinadinovic Veselinka. The total being 36 families.

Bogosevci village numbers 9 villagers, Gornje Selo 3-4 villagers, Sredska does not have a single Serbian villager.

The Church-National Board in Gnjilane informed Pravoslavlje Press, through amateur radio operators, about new suffering of the Serbs in this area. In the evening of September 25, grenades were launched at the Serbian part of the nationally mixed Cernica village near Gnjilane, which numbers about 100 Serbian families. More precisely, six mortar shells were launched at it. Nobody was hurt, but a significant material damage was caused, especially to Trajan Savic, Radomir Simic, Cveta Cvetanovic and Cvetko Simionovic.

On September 26, the armed Albanian terrorist shot at Miladin Maksimovic from Mozgovo village near Gnjilane while he was herding cattle, thereat taking 11 heads from the herd.

A photographic studio of Ilija Stojanovic in Gnjilane was plundered, and Bogdan Mladenovic’s house was set on fire.

In Sipasnica village near Kosovska Kamenica, the houses of Velibor Aleksic and Jovan Mihajlovic were set on fire. On September 25, three cases of plundering of Serbian houses and apartments were reported in Gnjilane: of Miroslav Josic, Nenad Maksimovic and Stanislav (N). On September 24, eigth Serbian families in Gnjilane were given ultimatum to move out of their houses in the next four days.

Couple of days ago, a Serbian woman who was hurt in the bomb attack in Lipljan (when her husband was killed) died in Kosovo Polje.

On September 26, the Albanian terrorists stoned a group of 50 Serbs who were returning from the Orthodox graveyard in the southern part of Kosovska Mitrovica. The teacher Verica Milic was most seriously hurt, and many other people were wounded.

On September 26, around midnight, the Albanian terrorists from Pantina village attacked Serbian village Svinjare, the biggest Serbian village in the vicinity of Mitrovica, using grenade launchers and mortars.

In the morning, on September 26, UN policemen blocked by four tanks one street in the Serbian village Bresije near Kosovo Polje, and searched three houses of Lazic family and two houses of Mitic family, with the explanation that they looked for weapons, which they, naturally, did not find. Dissatisfied with the result of the search, the policemen rushed at the gathered group of people who protested.

On September 26, KFOR soldiers brought an old woman Radojka Zivkovic (aged 80), whom the Albanians beat, into the Centre for Peace and Tolerance.

In Ugljare village, the Albanians shot at a group of Serbs and seriously wounded Zoran Galic.

In Bresije village, the Albanians inflicted serious wounds to Vojislav Todic.
