Kosovo&Metohia Events
The Church-National Board in Gnjilane informed us that three bombs exploded yesterday in that town inflicting injuries to six persons. Krsta Markovic, his wife Zagorka and Milutin Aksic were seriously hurt. Milutin's wife Stanica, Ranka Dicic and Todora Trajkovic suffered minor injuries.
The Serbs in Strpce blocked the centre of the town and the roads leading to Prizren and Urosevac. They protested because of the disappearance of the two teachers - Marko Stojanovic and Paun Zivkovic - from that little town. On Tuesday, September 28, 1999, the two of them, escorted by KFOR soldiers, went to Urosevac to school to take documents, and since then there has been no sign of them. As a sign of protest, due to KFOR's insufficient protection, the Serbs from Kosovo Polje, Ugljare, and Bresje blocked the road Pristina-Pec.
Yesterday in the morning, the Albanian terrorists stoned the bus which transported the miners of Trepca mine. The incident happened on the road Kosovska Mitrovica-Stari Trg.
Snezana Dimic's store in Kosovo Polje was demolished. Zoran Galic, the employee of the post office in Kosovo Polje, died after having been wounded.
