Recently Repatriated Albanian Tortured Severely in Serb Custody
PRISHTINA, Jan 20 (KIC) - Ibish Sh. Jashari
was repatriated from Germany on 15
January, and was arrested by the Serbian
police immediately upon his arrival at the
Prishtina airport, today's Bujku reports.
Mr. Jashari was sent to the Serb-run jail in
Prishtina and was held there until yesterday,
19 January.
"He was tortured severely by the Serbian
police while in custody. He has been inflicted
heavy body injuries," his brother told
the newspaper.
While in custody the Serbian police and security
interrogated him of his activities in
Germany, and charged him of having been involved
in "hostile activity" against so-called
FRY.
Mr. Jashari is under constant medical treatment
because of the wounds and fractions he
received from the police torture. He was
ordered by the police to report at the Serbian
security again.

Repatriated Albanian in Serb Police Custody Since Tuesday
PRISHTINA, Feb 4 (KIC) - Gani Dibrani from
Gradica village of Gllogovc was detained
by Serb police on Tuesday while on his way back
from Germany and is reported still
in custody.
Gani Dibrani's brother Haxhi Dibrani, told Kosova
Information Center that his brother was
an asylum-seeker in Germany and he was
repatriated by the German authorities. He was detained at the
Prishtina airport. He said the Serb police authorities at the airport
have not produced any explanation why his brother is being held in custody.

Repatriated Albanian to Be Send Back to Germany
PRISHTINA, Feb 18 (KIC) - Mentor Shala
(19), from Bare village of Mitrovica, was
arrested 14 February at the Prishtina
airport upon his repatriation from Germany.
From there he was sent to the Belgrade airport,
and is awaiting to be sent back to
Germany, Mr. Shala's brother told KIC.

Two Repatriated Kosova Albanians Tortured Severely
PRISHTINA, Feb 24 (KIC) - Ramiz Ali Mahaj,
from Dubravë e Vogël, and Hamza Halitaj from Novosella
village of Peja, were beaten severely at the Serbian police check-point
in Komaran, Kijeva and Klina, while on their way home from Germany,
sources in Istog and peja reported.
Ramiz Mahaj was inflected grave injuries on
his right arm, whereas Hamza Halitaj
was broken his teeth, says the report.
Their taxi driver was also beaten severely, who
had his jaw broken. The report says the
pretext for their torture was the fact that they
were coming back from Germany.

Serbian Police Beat Repatriated Albanian Severely
PRISHTINA, May 1 (KIC) - The German authorities
rounded up Skënder Muzlijaj
Wednesday and deported him to the Prishtina
airport.
Mr. Muzlijaj was held and questioned at
the Prishtina airport until midnight, when the
Serbian police decided to let him into Kosova.
Skender Muzlijaj was again stopped by
the Serbian police at Kijeva check-point Friday,
while on his way home to Shaptej village of Deçan.
He was held by the Serbian police in Kijeva
from 9 am until 1 pm. He was reported
beaten up severely by the Serb police.

Serb Police Ill-treat Albanian Returnees from Germany
PRISHTINA, May 5 (KIC) - Rasim Haziri
from Vushtrri ('Vucitern') and Hakif Osmani
from Mitrovica were reported maltreated brutally
at the Prishtina airport in Sllatina on
30 April, LDK sources in Vushtrri said. The two
Albanians were on the way back from
Germany, where they were refused asylum.
Sources in the Sllatina airports said other
Albanians were also maltreated there on 30
April, including several taxi-drivers.

Serbian Police Detains Repatriated Albanian Asylum Seeker
PRISHTINA, May 11 (KIC) - Agim Bajrami, originating
from Kamenica, was among 8
Kosova Albanians repatriated from Switzerland
on May 8th. He told LDK sources the
Serbian police in Belgrade had arrested Agim
Binaku upon their arrival at the airport. Mr. Bajrami said Agim Binaku
was originally from a village in the Drenica region, LDK sources in Kamenica
reported.
