The State and Private Property is to Be Registered and Protected

Prishtina, July 28, 1999 (MIP) - A Commission set up by the Interim Government of Kosova to register and protect the state and private property has started work on prevention against arbitrary take over of state and private property by irresponsible citizens.
This was also a case of worry in the meeting between the representatives of this commission, Sami Dermaku deputy chairman and Hysen Ibra secretary and the chairman and deputy chairman of Prishtina City Council Mexhit Syla and Selatin Novosella, including  also the secretary of urban issues Skender Muçolli.
A category of irresponsible citizens are using the situation in Kosova, thus causing damage to Kosova, its citizens and to the authority of the Interim Government of Kosova. Due to this, the authorized commission of the city council of Prishtina decided to warn them in order to release immediately the property which was taken over illegally.
The Commission for the Registration and Protection of State and Private Property in Kosova sees a part of the blame also on the UN Implementation Commission and in particular the slow steps  towards the establishing and functioning of Kosova police and UNMIK police.  Any person who has taken over or usurped property after March 28, 1989 their property will be taken and will be prosecuted legally. The Commission is decisive on this issue.
