OCTOBER 11:
RAHOVEC: The carbonized corpse of Agim Kelmendi
(22) from Bellacërka, who was killed on July 18, and the corpse of
another unidentified person were found in Bellacërka.
DEÇAN: Arben Tahir Hajdaraj (22) from
Shaptej died due to the wounds suffered during the Serbian offensive on
the village of Hereç near Gjakova.
LIPJAN: Donika B. Morina (9 months) from Shala
near Lipjan died in Tërpeza due to the lack of medical assistance.
MITROVICA: At the place called "Shelgjet e Zhazhës",
police dug a hole, which is believed to be a mass grave. In the center
of Zveçan, police stopped the car of the "Ade tours" travel agency.
Avdi Bajram Xani (56) and his son Arsim (22)
from the village of Polac near Skënderaj and three other Albanians
were arrested and severely ill-treated. In Shipol, three policemen arrested
Naim Ramadan Haziri (27) from Llausha near Skënderaj, sheltered in
Mitrovica.
VUSHTRRI: Serbian police and military forces,
stationed in Frashër near Mitrovica, shelled Pantina near Vushtrria.
SHTIME: Serbian police and military forces, stationed
in Carraleva, shelled the villages of Ranca and Topilla near Shtime and
Grajçec near Suhareka.
FERIZAJ: In Nerodime e Epërme, Serbian forces
burned many Albanian houses. In Nerodime e Poshtme, the house of Fehmi
Neziri was looted.
OCTOBER 12:
SUHAREKA: The corpse of Lulzim Shaip Gutaj (18)
from Suhareka, who was killed during the Serbian offensive on Jezerc near
Ferizaj, was found today. There were large movements of police and military
troops in Suhareka. At 10.00 a.m., two helicopters landed on the sports
field in the vicinity of the "Ballkan" Hotel. The lessons in the local
primary schools were interrupted. Serbian police physically ill-treated
Halit (55) and Agim Demiraj (25) from the village of Samadraxha under the
pretext that they are not locals.
GJAKOVA: On September 9, during the offensive
of the Serbian forces, Mentor Shabanaj (1965) from Hereç was killed.
LIPJAN: On September 28, Veli A. Olluri (42),
a teacher, died due to the lack of medical assistance.
SKëNDERAJ: The corpse of Rrustem Rreci (60)
was found in the forests near Llausha. Rrustem and several fellow-villagers
of his had been arrested by the Serbian forces and their whereabouts are
still unknown. At 1.00 p.m., Serb snipers wounded Naim Nuraj (21) and Dan
Nuraj (50) from Plluzhina. In the Barani quarter in Klina e Epërme,
Serbian police burned the house and two cars owned by Sali Ajet Barani.
In the very same quarter, policemen slaughtered 23 calves, burned crops
and hay stacks.
VUSHTRRI: Serbian paramilitary forces, stationed
in Prilluzha, machine gunned the villages of Gllavotin, Zhilivoda, Bivolak,
Strovc, Beçuk and those on the east of Çiçavica.
KLINA: In Zajm, 4 unidentified persons opened
fire towards Xhafer Dervishi. Xhafer was looking for the corpse of his
son Xhezair, who was killed by the Serbian forces. Radovan Sreta Spasiq,
employed with the Bureau for Social Insurance in Klina, broke the windows
of the "Fontana" motel, owned by Sadik Gashi. In Zajm, a Serb named Krstiq
went into the house yard of Isa Krasniqi, a former political prisoner and
member of the Board of the LDK branch in Klina, threatened and insulted
him on a national basis.
GLLOGOC: Yesterday, at a check-point in the vicinity
of Vushtrria, Serbian police arrested Islam Bajram Musliu (1982) from Shtrubullova,
Fehmi Kadri Gashi from Shtutica, Faton Mehdi Buzhala from Komoran, Ilir
Sejdi Demaku from Abria e Epërme, a youngster from Qubrel near Skënderaj,
another one from the district of Istog, as well as two taxi drivers. They
were taken to the police station in Vushtrria, interrogated on the KLA
and physically ill-treated.
SHTIME: Yesterday, some 200 soldiers and policemen
raided, demolished and destroyed the houses of Shefki Jakupi, Selman Jakupi,
Brahim Bungu, Salih Salihu and Brahim Ademaj. Police arrested Salih Salihu,
Brahim Bungu and Hajrullah Ademaj. On being brutally beaten, they were
released.
In Shtime, there were large movements of the
Serbian forces. Fresh forces were deployed at the check-point in "Kryqi
i Belincit" in the outskirts of Shtime. Serb snipers, stationed at "Kodra
e Gështenjave", opened fire towards Albanian civilians. The situation
of the displaced people, who had sought shelter in Gryka e Papazit and
in Lugu i Vërshecit, is very grave. They have not received any humanitarian
aid for more than a month. Heavy artillery was stationed along the road
to Carraleva, in Qafa e Duhlës, in Biraq near Suhareka, etc.
PRIZREN: Large police and military forces headed
towards Hasi, Vërmica and the other villages on the border with Albania.
GJILAN: Large amounts of weaponry were brought
to the village of Cërnica. Serb forces placed it in the premises of
the local primary school. A check-point was set at the place called "Zabeli
i Vogël". A colonel named Saviq from Vranja was placed in command.
MITROVICA: 10 trucks full of policemen and armed
Serb civilians headed towards Skënderaj. Some 40 Serb policemen returned
to their houses in the "Kroi i Vitakut" quarter carrying the goods they
had looted in the Albanian houses in the regions affected with war. ZHUR:
A truck full of soldiers was stationed in the yard of the "Naim Frashëri"
Primary School in Vlashnje. Several soldiers went into the school causing
panic among the pupils. A military superior provoked Aziz Tarashaj, the
principal, and Nafi Gashi, a teacher.
PODUJEVA: 40 trucks full of soldiers, ammunition
an other weaponry were stationed in the Dabinovci quarter in Përpellac.
KAÇANIK: Large military forces were stationed
at the place called "Fusha e Pajtimit" and the Lekaj in Doganaj. 6 tanks
were stationed in the Koxhaj quarter.
KAMENICA: Policemen in private cars are patrolling
through the streets of the town.
FERIZAJ: Musli Avdyli from Pleshina was summoned
to the Security Center in Ferizaj.
OCTOBER 13:
DEÇAN: The corpses of the following were
found in Carrabreg i Epërm: Cuf Balaj (78), Mane Balaj (75), Ajmane
Dautaj (70) and that of an 18-year-old youngster.
MITROVICA: In Rashan, youngsters Rifat Faik Smakolli
(18) and Driton Abit Smakolli (20) were killed by a mine. A Serb policeman
stopped an Albanian girl, forced her into the bus station and kissed her.
Later on, he forced the crying girl into the water closet and on the bus
travelling to Zveçan. According to eye- witnesses the policeman
was from Zhitkoc.
SUHAREKA: A police convoy headed for Budakova,
whereas large police forces were stationed in Gjinoc, Mohlan, Dubrava,
Sallagrazhda, Mushtisht, Vraniq and Reshtan. Serbian police presented an
ultimatum to many Albanian villagers to hand in their weapons.
While crossing the border with Albania, in Padesh,
Latif Bajram Gallopeni (1976) from Dobërdolan and Shpejtim Tafil Kryeziu
(1980) from Suhareka hit on mines and got killed. Two armoured cars with
more than 30 policemen were stationed in Vraniq. They severely ill- treated
and arrested Enver Ramadan Loshi (32), Faton Abdullah Kolgeci (33), Haxhi
Selim Llugaxhiu (40) and another person from Budakova.
KLINA: Sylë Imer Ramaj (75) from Cerovik
near Klina, a paralysed person, died in the Prishtina Hospital as an aftermath
of the scalds he suffered on September 26 in Dobrashec near Gllogoc. He
and his family had taken shelter in Dobrashec and the Serbian forces set
fire to the plastic sheet shelters.
SKëNDERAJ: Police check-points were set
up and large police forces were stationed in the region of Skënderaj.
In Llausha, police check-points were set up in the outskirts of the village,
at the local school, in the Gecaj quarter, at the road leading to the monastery
in Deviç and in the local mosque, where they raised their flag.
In Likoc, police check-points were set up in the outskirts of the village,
in the center of the village and in the Kadriu quarter; in Rezalla - in
the outskirts of the village; in Marina - in the outskirts of the village;
in Polac - in the Xani quarter; in Polluzha - in the Kastrati quarter;
in Makërmal - in the Gjinovci quarter; on the road between Likoc and
Makërmal - at the place called Stublina, a military basis was set
up; in Skënderaj - at the Ammunition Plant and on the road between
Skënderaj and Llausha; in Klina e Epërme, on the crossroads between
Peja-Mitrovica and Skënderaj; in every village along the road between
Mitrovica and Peja, such as: Tërrnavc, Çubrel, Vitak, Runika,
Suhogërlla, Padalishta, Leçina and Çitak. A large military
basis was set up in Açareva. Serbian forces were stationed in many
Albanian houses, too.
The following villages are completely vacant:
Suhogërlla, Llausha, Rezalla, Likoc, Makërmal, Plluzhina, Polluzha,
Marina, Tica, Açareva, Vitak, Çubrel, Tërrnavc, Klina
e Epërme and Klina e Mesme. Abria e Poshtme, Murga and Dashevc are
partly vacant.
PRIZREN: Today, at about 8.00 a.m., 5 trucks
full of soldiers arrived in Kushnin i Hasit and ordered the inhabitants
to construct the road to the sentry box of the "Yugoslav Army". During
the last few days, Serbian forces were stationed in the villages of Kushnin,
Mazrek, Kojusha, Planeja and Gorozhup. Many Albanians were arrested and
ill-treated.
GJAKOVA: Serbian police presented an ultimatum
to the inhabitants of Dushkaja to hand in their weapons. In Osek Hyla,
they arrested Lush (70), Sokol (66) and Maxhun Dodë Lleshi (42) and
Besnik Llesh Lleshi (18).
OCTOBER 14:
SKëNDERAJ: Serbian snipers killed Zymer Goxhuli
(33) and wounded Jusuf Goxhuli (28) from Makërmal. Police took Jusuf
to an unknown direction.
MALISHEVA: In Ngucat near Malisheva, Leutrim
Vesel Kodraliu (2) from Javor died due to the difficult living conditions.
In Pagarusha, Lindor Zeqir Hoti (2 months) from Malisheva died due to the
difficult living conditions. Serbian forces shelled Malisheva and the villages
of Maxhara, Maralia, Dragobil and Caralluka. Adnan Paçarizi (28)
from Dragobil was wounded and many houses were damaged. A small number
of inhabitants that remained in their houses were forced to flee their
houses and to take shelter in the woods.
DEÇAN: The corpses of Burhan Dervishaj
and Ekrem Lulaj, who were killed at the place called "Varri i Çikave"
in the mountains of Strellc, were buried in Irzniq and Broliq.
PEJA: Serbian police and military forces are
re-deploying their troops and were stationed in the Bjeshkët e Nemuna
mountains, around Deçan and Peja. Rugova is completely blocked and
it has no connection either with Peja or Montenegro. There is no trespassing
for men at the check-points on the roads leading to Rugova, Rozhaja, Lugu
i Baranit, Loxha, etc., whereas women and children must pay taxes of DM
10 to 20 each. 784 Albanians are facing charges for "hostile activity"
and "terrorism" at the District Court. Many of them were taken to the prisons
in Serbia.
SUHAREKA: There are frequent movements of police
forces, who ill- treat passers-by. The situation of the displaced people
has worsened after the first snow had fallen.
KLINA: There were shootings from the check-points
in Dollc and Dollova towards Këpuz, Çupeva, Volljaka, Svërka,
Përçeva and Klina. Large military forces were stationed in
the Mirusha valley, in Dollc and the Volljaka mine, whereas police forces
were stationed in Dollc, Pogragja and in every village along the road.
Two policemen and a military person loaded a truck with building material
from the private enterprise, owned by Sali Ibishi in Klina and took it
towards an unknown direction.
MITROVICA: 38 military and police vehicles from
Rashka arrived in Mitrovica, whereas 10 police and military vehicles from
Mitrovica headed for Skënderaj. Police and military forces from their
basis in Stantërg and Kutllovc opened fire towards Melenica, Vidishiq,
Bare and Bajgora.
GLLOGOC: During the Serb offensive on Dobrashec
from September 22- 25, the following were arrested: Fatmir Shishani (30),
a teacher, Milazim Shehu (43), a worker, Rasim Gjota (21), Fitim Ademi
(17) and Zenel Ademi (19).
FERIZAJ: There was shooting and a house was burned
in Nerodime e Epërme.
PRIZREN: Ibrahim Isa Llapçeva (20) from
Prizren was beaten by three Serbian civilians. Due to the injuries suffered,
he had to be hospitalized. Police forced Sokol Buzhala (1972), a wounded
person from Budakova, out of the hospital and took him to the police station.
Safet Dërgut Kabashi (1962) from Opterusha
near Rahovec was arrested at the check-point in Landovica, while on his
way to visit his family. Ever since, he is in pre-trial detention. Muharrem
Adem Çunaj (1943), Sali Din Dinaj (1942), Avdullah Sadri Çunaj
(1964), Mehmet Azem Çunaj (1972) and Dulë Bajram Çunaj
(1935) from Kojusha are in detention since October 9. The following are
in detention: Sali Rrustem Hameli (1976), whose haystack was burned on
October 12; Osman Jahaj (40), a principal; Kadri Jahaj (27) and Mon Ali
Karavidaj (1962). In the meantime, Azem and Qazim Karavidaj were released.
In Kojusha, women and children were taken some 600m out of the village
and were subjected to severe ill-treatment for more than 4 hours. Men were
kept hostage, 21 of whom were subjected to severe ill-treatment and suffered
severe injuries.
GJILAN: Unknown persons attempted to kidnap Nefail
Haziri (1971), "Mon Beqiri" st.828, chairman of the Youth Union and editor-in-
chief with the "Bashkimi" newspaper.
OCTOBER 15:
SKëNDERAJ: On September 23, during the attack
of the Serbian forces on the villages of Drenica, Fidan Jetullah Beka (1983)
from the village of Likoc was executed in Gradica in the presence of his
family members (21). 10.000 displaced people witnessed the execution.
VUSHTRRI: The villagers who have not fled Zhilivoda,
Strovc, Oshlan and Okrashtica are in a very difficult situation due to
the lack of food. Many suffer of famine. Serb forces have burned and destroyed
the cattle fodder. Those who are stuck in their villages are under the
constant threat of being arrested or killed by Serbian snipers.
MALISHEVA: Serbian forces shelled the villages
of Dragobil, Marali, Bubavec, Llazica, Carralluka and Maxhara. Many grenades
fell on Pagarusha, Guriq and Shkoza. The local villagers have once again
fled to the mountains.
PRISHTINA: Large police forces were stationed
in the building of the Agricultural Collective in Shkabaj. The whereabouts
of Naim Deliu from Abria e Epërme are unknown since the massacre perpetrated
on the Deliu family. In the vicinity of the "Grand- Hotel", Serbian police
stopped Nazmi and Milazim Berisha (1977) from Prishtina, "Robert Gajdiku"
st., threatened them and looted DM 400 from them.
MITROVICA: Serbian army shelled the villages
of Mazhiq, Melenica, Trepçali and in the direction of the road Stantërg-Bare.
Police shot towards Ali Daut Kadriu (46), a teacher from Likoc near Skënderaj,
sheltered in Mitrovica.
SUHAREKA: Last night, there was shooting in the
villages of Samadraxha and Bllaca. War planes and helicopters flew over
the house roofs. On his return from school, Xhavit Hamdi Malaj (1960),
a teacher with the "Edit Durham" Primary School, was arrested by the Serbian
police.
PRIZREN: Fresh police and military forces arrived
from Serbia. Another police check-point was set at Ura e Landovicës.
Large police forces were stationed in Nashec, 5 km from Prizren. The series
of trials against 300 Albanians from the districts of Prizren, Suhareka
and Rahovec, charged for "terrorism" and "hostile activity", will begin
tomorrow at the Serbian-Run District Court. A number of Albanian detainees
were transferred from the prison of Prizren to the prisons in Serbia -
30 of them in Vranje, 35 in Prokuple and 28 in Leskovc. Investigative proceedings
were pressed against the following: Mon Ali Karavidaj (1962), Kadri Ukë
Jahaj (1970) and Sali Rrustem Hameli (1976) from Mazrek; Muharrem Adem
Çunaj (1943), Mehmet Azem Çunaj (1972), Sali Din Çunaj
(1942), Dulë Ramadan Çunaj (1976), Avdullah Sadri Çunaj
(1964) and Man Bajram Çunaj (1935) from Kojusha.
GJILAN: Police raided the houses of and arrested
the following: Lutfi Haziri (1969), vice-chairman of the LDK branch in
Gjilan; Tajar Berisha; Ibrahim Oruçi; Qani Hidiqi; Nexhat Bunjaku;
Ruzhdi Sadiku; Sedat Ymeri; Burhan Saliu and Ekrem Qerimi - all from Gjilan
and Ismet Hashani, an LDK activist from Vërbica e Kmetovcit.
The houses of Fatmir Salihu and Skënder
Bunjaku in Gjilan were raided. Jetullah Sylejmani (1971), Nexhmedin Beqiri
(1971) and Naim Isufi (1971) from Makresh i Poshtëm received drafting
summons. A Serbian policeman beat Rexhep Xhaferi (1968), "Bregu i djegur"
st., under the pretext that the latter was looking at him strangely.
GLLOGOC: In Gllobar, Serbian police beat two
Albanians travelling by tractor. In the vicinity of the secondary school
in Gllogoc, 4 youngsters were forced out of the bus and taken to the police
station.
FUSHë-KOSOVA: Police vehicles headed for
Drenica. Serb locals were armed.
FERIZAJ: A military convoy headed for Shtime.
Military forces were stationed in the building of the Agricultural Cooperative
in Tankosiq.
RAHOVEC: 80 Serbian policemen were stationed
in Ratkoc.
OCTOBER 16:
GJAKOVA: The Sub-CDHRF in Gjakova sent the list
of the Albanians killed in this district. The following names were added
to those who were registered so far: Adil Hasanaj (83) from Smolica, killed
in July; Mire (60) and Prelë Merturi (63), Prene (60) and Prekë
Krasniqi (66) - from Meqa, killed in August; Nekë Halit Paçarizaj
(45) from Dobrosh, Ilire (30) and Tush Frrokaj (38) from Plançor
and Përmet Vula (21) from Gjakova, killed in August; Elton Zherka
(20) from Gjakova, killed in September.
Serbian forces opened fire towards Krelan. The
shelling can be heard in Gjakova. The local people fled and are in the
open.
Serbian forces were stationed in the premises
of the primary school in Krelan, in Zylfaj and along the border zone with
Albania. There are many military and police vehicles in these mountains.
There is large movement of the Serbian forces in the town itself.
SKëNDERAJ: Serbian police and military forces
are not withdrawing from the villages of Drenica. These forces were redeployed
in different locations. Serb forces were stationed at the place called
"Livadhi i Sefës", between the villages of Llausha and Qubrel. Their
weaponry was covered with camouflage nets. Serb forces have hidden their
weaponry in the mountain range between Mokna and Stërmca e Epërme,
in Kotorr, Radisheva and Suhogërlla. In Radisheva, Serb forces opened
fire towards Ismet Azem Ahmeti (52), his son Mehdi (30), their relative
Jahir (35) and their nephew Isuf (15). They were on a visit to their destroyed
houses.
GLLOGOC: At 9 a.m., a police vehicle took an
Albanian youngster to the Health Care Center in Gllogoc. He was bleeding.
At noon, fire was opened from a police vehicle in the village of Gllobar.
There was shooting at the Llapushniku Gorge, "Ferronikli" Plant and the
check-point in Tërstenik.
MITROVICA: 43 military vehicles, including rocket
launchers, left Zubin Potok and headed towards Mitrovica. At 9 a.m., a
convoy of 7 trucks, 2 "Niva" vehicles and 5 trucks with sand left Mitrovica
and headed for Skënderaj. Since September 20, the corpses of Shkëlzen
Misin Dobra (23) from the village of Kryshec near Skënderaj, Selman
Aliu from Pantina near Vushtrria and that of an unidentified Albanian are
in the morgue of the Mitrovica Hospital. In the "Bair" quarter, police
raided and demolished the houses of Hetem Selim Gjinovci (67), Halil Hetem
Gjinovci (48), Enver, Adem and Shaban Muharrem Prekazi. Police searched
for Sejdi Demaku from Abria e Poshtme near Skënderaj. Halil's son
Artim (11) was threatened with knives. During the raid some 180 people
were in these houses, mainly women and children displaced from the villages
of Drenica. Policeman Ratko Antonijeviq opened fire towards an unidentified
person.
OBILIQ: Incessant fire is being opened by the
Serbian forces stationed at the place called "Kërshat e Grabocit"
and in the houses of the Krasniqi family in Shipitulla. The villagers of
Graboc i Epërm, Graboc i Poshtëm, Shipitulla, Sibovc, Lajthishta
and Hamidia fear to return to their houses. Many houses in these villages
were shelled, destroyed, looted and burned.
RAHOVEC: There were large movements of the Serbian
police and military forces in the town of Rahovec and in its surroundings.
Policemen are patrolling through the streets of the town pointing their
guns towards passers-by. A bus full of policemen was stationed at the "Termovent"
Factory. Many policemen were stationed in the "Park" Hotel in Hoça
e Madhe. The following were physically ill-treated by the police: Tefik
Iska, a teacher, his son Luan and Shaban Shehu from Rahovec. Behar Rama,
a teacher of mathematics with the "Ramiz Sadiku" Secondary School, was
arrested. For more than a month, dr. Shani Bajraktari, is in police detention.
FERIZAJ: Large movements of the police and military
forces were noticed during the day in the outskirts of the town.
SHTëRPCA: Last night, after midnight, fire
was opened towards the house of Osman Idriz Hyseni. Today, fire was opened
towards the house of Sylejman Rushiti in Bitija e Poshtme.
OCTOBER 17:
PRISHTINA: Last night, after midnight, fire shots
were heard in the "Kodra e Trimave" quarter and on the crossroad in Taukbahçe.
Fire was opened towards the houses of: Azem and Abdyl Makolli; Rrustem,
Faik, Ragip and Hysen Jahiri; Musa Jusufi; Fadil Tahiri; Raif Qerimi. Some
families fled their homes during the night, but returned again in the morning.
It is believed that some Albanian women and children are kept hostage by
the Serbian police in the Prishtina Hospital. The children were heard crying.
PODUJEVA: Last night, 3 detonations and fire
shots were heard in Podujeva. Policemen and Serb civilians opened fire
and wounded Esat Vesel Gashi (45) from Podujeva, who is mentally ill. Due
to this, the houses of the following were damaged: Zymer Hoxha, Ali Ajvazi,
Miftar Latifi, Hasan and Fatmir Haliti, Osman Visoka's shop and Nazmi Osmani's
car. Today, police blocked the streets of the town. Police arrested Maliq
Jaha and demolished the inventory of the "Linda" policlinic under the pretext
that they were searching for wounded people.
GLLOGOC: Police forces opened fire towards the
Vuçaku Gorge, Komoran and Tërstenik. There are no signs of
police withdrawal.
MALISHEVA: Serbian forces shelled the villages
of Dragobil, Marali, Maxhara, Domanek, Mleçan, Llazica and Bubavec.
MITROVICA: Serbian forces from the military basis
in Kutllovc opened fire towards the villages of Mazhiq, Rashan, Trepçali,
Melenica and along the road Stantërg-Bare. Military vehicles headed
for Kutllovc. At the bus station, police beat Fadil Hasan Avdullahu (35)
from Orzhana and looted DM 1500 from him.
PRIZREN: After the fierce clashes in the district
of Suhareka, some 6000 Albanians who had returned to their burned and destroyed
houses, were forced to flee again and to take shelter in Mamusha and Medvec,
in the district of Prizren. A military convoy headed towards the border
with Albania. Parading through the town, soldiers were in high alert and
were waving their war flags. They usually wear police uniforms, but today
they were wearing military ones. At the check-point in Zhur, police arrested
Alajdin Shasivar Gashi (25) from Prizren.
KAÇANIK: Serbian police and military forces
damaged the cemetery in the village of Bazhdarhane, cut the trees, damaged
the gravestones and broke the gate.
OCTOBER 18:
GJAKOVA: At the morgue of the Gjakova Hospital,
police brought the corpse of an Albanian youngster aged 22, who is believed
to be from Krelan. It is believed that many were wounded and are without
any medical support. Serbian police and military forces set fire to the
houses in Ponoshec, Molliq, Brovina, Smolica, etc.
KLINA: After 22 years of marriage, the wife of
Rexhë Galan Gashi from Sverka e Gashit delivered twins, who died due
to the lack of medical assistance. Rexha's wife is in a critical health
condition.
Fresh forces were stationed in the vicinity of
Sverka e Gashit.
OBILIQ: Serbian police and military forces stationed
in the premises of the Kosova GE and in Plemetin shelled Shipitulla, Lajthishta,
Graboc, Hade, Sibovc and Hamidi.
GLLOGOC: During the last two days, there were
shooting and shelling in the villages of Polluzha, Tërstenik and Likoc.
KAÇANIK: The compulsory authorities of
the "Silcapor" Plant in Kaçanik dismissed 130 Albanian workers from
their jobs, including 7 engineers. The Serbian police and military forces
are not withdrawing from their positions. After 5.00 p.m., 40 military
vehicles (tanks, armoured cars and lorries) left Ferizaj and headed for
Doganaj. These units were stationed in the Lekaj and Koxhaj quarters and
partly in the "Silcapor" Plant.
DELAYED INFORMATION:
GLLOGOC: In August, during the offensive of the
Serbian forces on the villages of Gllogoc, Serbian forces shelled, looted
and burned the two-storey house of Xhemajl Selman Zogaj (1923) in Komoran,
as well as two hectares of crops. On September 27, in the forests of Kosmaç,
Serbian forces arrested some 400 men, among whom Hysen Rraci (1955) from
Siçeva (Klina), Murat Dobruna (1954) from Llazica (Malisheva), Mehmet
Elshani (45) from Bainca (Gllogoc), Ukë Morina (42) from Gllareva
(Klina), 2 persons of the Berisha family from Gjurgjevik near Klina and
a person of the Veselaj family from Gllareva (Klina). Those detained were
taken to the police station in Gllogoc and to the Municipality Jail in
Peja. 90 of them were released later on.
LIPJAN: On August 23, Serbian forces looted and
burned the houses of Sadik Ramadani and Sadije Metaj in Magura.
MITROVICA: On Septemeber 22, during the Serb
attack on the villages of Mitrovica, Ilaz Ahmet Sejdiu (59) from Verrnica
was severely wounded.
VUSHTRRI: On September 23, Serb forces arrested
and severely ill- treated Sejdi Zabeli (1965) from Lumëmadh.
OBILIQ: On September 27, at midnight, in the
vicinity of the National Theater, Serbian police forced out of the car
and physically ill-treated brother and sister (twins) Salihe and Fexhri
Hamit Restelica (1968) from Hade. Fexhri suffered severe injuries, whereas
Salihe suffered traumas.
FERIZAJ: On October 3, in Glloboçica,
on the border cross with Macedonia, Serb border police stopped Zeqir Baliu
(1946) from Jezerc, who was on his way back from Tetova. He was physically
ill- treated and taken to the Security Center in Ferizaj. On being interrogated
for several hours, he was released. On October 6 and 7, in Nerodime e Poshtme,
the premises of Isuf Hyseni and Ismajl Sadik Kashtanjeva, as well as the
house of Ruzhdi Neziri were burned. On October 7, Jashar Çerkini
from Ferizaj was taken for informative talks.
SUHAREKA: On October 10, in Mohlan, Serbian police
arrested Milaim Muharrem Kabashi, Gëzim Ramadan Kabashi and Nexhat
Azem Kabashi from Mohlan, as well as Besim Shaban Bungu from Grajçec.
RAHOVEC: On October 10, Xheladin Rama and Agim
Metbala, activists with the "Mother Theresa" Humanitarian ë Charitable
Association, were subjected to ill-treatment by the Serbian police.
NOTICE: There are no information on the whereabouts of the following: Sherif Sejdi Qatani (48) from Duhla-Suhareka (since September 30); Jusuf Gashi, Ahmet Gashi, brothers Fadil, Haxhi, Elmi and Safet Gashi, brothers Asllan, Hysni and Bafti Gashi, Reshat Gashi and Alush, Besim, Jetish, Liman and Reshit Kabashi - all from Mohlan-Suhareka (since October 9-10); Ramiz Tahiraj (1945), Tushe Tahiraj (1946) and Agim Metaj (1953) - all three from Hereç-Gjakova (for a month); Hamdi Rizah Biba (65) from Jezerc- Ferizaj (since September 27); Gjokë Sokol Krasniqi (1947) from Meqa-Gjakova (since July 17); Miftar Gashi (36) from Abria e Poshtme-Gllogoc (for the last three weeks); Sali Binaku (1940) from Irzniq-Deçan (since the end of April).
