OCTOBER 25:
PRISHTINA: Last night, the Albanian coast guard
reported that 19 Albanians from Kosova drowned in the waters of the Adriatic
in the vicinity of the island of Sazan. They had fled Kosova and were seeking
refuge in Italy.
FERIZAJ: On September 28, Nazim Xhemshir Terziu
(1977) from Sllatina e Lepencit (Kaçanik) was killed in Jezerc.
VUSHTRRI: Serb paramilitary forces stationed
in Prilluzha have opened fire towards the villages of Strovc and Beçuk.
Serb forces tried to overrun these villages but were opposed by the KLA.
KLINA: The shelling of the Serbian police and
military forces on the villages of Gremnik, Çupeva, Volljaka, Sverka,
Përçeva, Këpuz, Bokshiq and Çeskova continued.
The few villagers who had started to return to their houses fled once again.
Kadri Avdi Morina (11) from Sverka was wounded due to shelling. His life
is in danger.
The looting of the Albanian houses continues.
Masked Serb gangs are looting all valuables. According to eye-witnesses,
the looted goods are taken to the house of Lekë Baciqi. Police and
military forces are looting timber in the forests owned by the Albanians.
PEJA: Last night, there was a blast in the vicinity
of the house of Hydaverdi Gjergjizi. His shop on the ground floor was destroyed
and many house windows were broken. Since September 22, Brahim Ukë
Berisha from the village of Kryshec is being kept in detention. Serb forces
have usurped the building of the "Naum Veqilharxhi" Primary School in Kliçina.
The school inventory was demolished and the school
documentation was completely destroyed. A Serb family was settled in this
building. 300 Albanian pupils were left out of school.
OCTOBER 26:
MALISHEVA: The corpses of Kujtim Ibrahim Bytyçi
(17) and Enver Milazim Bytyçi (17) from Shkoza near Malisheva, who
were killed on stepping on a field of mines in the vicinity of the border
with Albania, were identified in the morgue of the Prizreni Hospital.
KLINA: On October 16, the corpse of Arif Marmullaku
from the village of Dush was found. There are still no signs that the Serb
forces are withdrawing from the district of Klina. In Dobërdol, these
forces have isolated 30 Albanian civilians, including Arianit Bardhec Laci,
a 10-year-old child who suffers from hemophilia and whose life is in danger.
Cvetko Deniq, a policeman from Dresnik, physically ill-treated his fellow
villager Viktor Deda.
GLLOGOC: Serbian police and military forces are
pretending to be withdrawing. In fact, they are only redeploying their
units. Serb forces withdrew from the Llapushniku Gorge and the village
of Tërstenik and were stationed in the "Ferronikli" Plant near Gllogoc.
The Serb forces which withdrew from Çuka e Zabelit were stationed
in Krivova. There are no inhabitants in the Albanian villages of Fushtica
e Poshtme, Llapushnik, Arllat, Abria e Epërme, Vasileva, Poklek i
Vjetër, Polluzha, Kishnareka and Nekoc. The villages of Fushtica e
Epërme, Pokleku i Ri, Çikatova e Vjetër, Shtutica, Korretica
e Epërme and Sankoc are partially inhabited. Many villagers have no
place to return to as their houses were burned and destroyed during the
attacks of the Serbian forces.
SHTIME: A special unit of the Serbian forces,
heavily armed, intervened in the village of Mullopolc causing panic among
the few villagers who had returned to their houses. Selman Nurë Mujota
and Sabri Shaban Neziraj were detained for more than an hour. Serb forces
left Shtime and headed towards Ferizaj and Prishtina. Serb forces have
not withdrawn from Carraleva and the nearby villages.
VITI: A military convoy of 14 tanks, several
trucks and an anti-aircraft system was stationed at the place called "Kodra
e Xhepës". Their presence caused panic among the villagers, especially
when they started to shoot in the air. The shooting continued until late
in the night. Several tanks were covered with camouflage nets.
RAHOVEC: Serb forces are still stationed in the
strategic points around the town and in several villages in this district.
Only a small number of the displaced have returned to their homes and are
facing famine. Serbian police is preventing the Albanian villagers of Zoqishta,
Opterusha and Retia from returning to their homes.
PRISHTINA: In the "Velania" quarter, 2 policemen
stopped youngsters Visar Hajriz Fekaj (1978), a student, and Arben Fekaj
- from Kërrnina near Istog and Ilir Kryeziu. They were insulted on
a national basis and threatened to be killed if they reported their case.
DM 70 and SFR 20 were looted from them. On the road to Matiçan,
2 policemen stopped Arsim Beqir Hoti (1973), a student from the village
of Ratkoc near Rahovec and another youngster from Prishtina. DM 100 were
looted from them.
FERIZAJ: In Nerodime e Epërme, Serbian forces
burned the 2-story house of Sokol Bajrush Maloku.
MITROVICA: Last night, in the "Kroi i Vitakut"
quarter, Serb policemen opened automatic fire in order to cause insecurity
among the Albanian population.
VUSHTRRI: At 8.45 a.m., loud detonations were
heard.
PRIZREN: The police check-points on the roads
between Prizren and Gjakova, Prizren and Prishtina, Prizren and Kukës,
as well as that in the Tusus quarter in Prizren were removed.
Plainclothed policemen continue to ill-treat
Albanian citizens. Serbian police and military forces are still stationed
in the region of Has, between Zhur and Dobrush, along the border between
Gora and Luma, in Dubrava and Opoja, Landovica, Guri i Zi and Struzh. Armed
Serb forces are parading through the streets of the town. Many passers-by
are stopped and ill-treated. In Landovica, Serbian police provoked, ill-treated
and beat the bus driver of the "Shehu" Travel Agency and 6 passengers travelling
between Rahovec and Prizren.
In the Serbian run District Court in Prizren,
the trial of the following Albanians, who were indicted for "hostile activity",
was postponed: Hazir Krasniqi, Gani Morina, Xhemajl Bytyçi, Sali
Bytyçi, Hidajet Misini, Ilhami Bytyçi, Arsim Morina, Besim
Kastrati, Ramadan Morina, Zenel Rrustemi and Agim Morina - all from Denja
and Malësia e Re near Rahovec; Sherif Fahri Berisha (1959), Nehat
(1965) and Reshat Bajram Shishko (1960), dr. Afrim Qemal Avdaj (1966) and
Sahit Hysen Krasniqi (1964) from Prizren, Atdhe Luzhnica (1977) from Luzhnica
near Suhareka, Skënder Morina (1978) from Gegja near Rahovec and Hysni
Gazi Krasniqi (19) from Hoça e Qytetit near Prizren.
Dr. Nasip Fetiu from the village of Peçan
near Suhareka was brought to court but was released due to the lack of
evidence. The trial of 25 Albanians from Rahovec (including a juvenile)
was postponed.
NISH (Serbia): The following Albanians who had
been indicted for "hostile activity" and "terrorism" were sentenced by
the Military Court in Nish: Agron Sylkaj from Ponoshec to 6 years, Gazmend
Imeri to 8 years, Nexhdet Zymberaj and Avni Ahmeti to 7,6 years of imprisonment
each - all from the village of Ponoshec near Gjakova. The following Albanian
prisoners were transferred from the military prison in Nish to the military
prison in Belgrade: Fadil Dabiqaj, Bedri Kukalaj and Hysen Latifaj - sentenced
to 13 years of imprisonment each and Armend Mazrekaj, a juvenile, sentenced
to 8 years of imprisonment - all from Prejlep near Deçan.
OCTOBER 27:
SKËNDERAJ: As the Serbian police and military
forces withdrew from the village of Likoc, the mutilated corpses of the
following were found: Xhavit Halit Kadriu (22) from Likoc, decapitated,
Cen Gjinovci (67) from Makërmal (both killed on September 25) and
that of Idriz Gashi (60) from Rezalla. The corpse of Hasan Jashar Hoti
(82), who was killed on September 19, was found in Likoc. As the Serb forces
withdrew from Tërstenik, they left many Albanian houses, the local
school and the local policlinic in ruins.
MALISHEVA: Today, on returning to their houses
in the village of Dragobil, Ali Murat Paçarizi was killed by a mine
laid by the Serbian forces. Haki Jakup Paçarizi and Arsim Kajtaz
Paçarizi were wounded. The mutilated corpse of Jashar Sherif Krasniqi
(55) was found in his house in the village of Tërpeza e Poshtme. Jashar
had been reported missing. The villagers of Tërpeza found the carbonized
corpses of Demush Krasniqi (63), Ajet Rifat Krasniqi (85) and Rasim Daut
Krasniqi (87). The corpse of Ramadan Selman Hoti (80) was found in his
house in Carralluka. All the above mentioned were killed during the Serb
offensive in July.
PEJA: The corpses of Mustafë Isuf Lajçi
(58) and Dude Isuf lajçi (55) were found in the vicinity of Shtupeq
i Vogël. The 2 were killed on August 24, during the offensive of the
Serbian police and military forces. The carbonized corpse of Mehmet Ukshinaj
(70) was found in the village of Lubeniq.
The following were sentenced by the district
court in Peja: Demë Halil Ramosaj (48) from Carrabreg i Epërm
near Deçan to 3 years of imprisonment; Xhavit Shaban Musëshabani
(1967) to 4 years, Arbnor Nexhat Xhemajli (1977) to 1 year - both from
Peja; Florim Ahmet Zukaj (1971) and Driton Islam Zukaj (1976) to 2 and
a half years of imprisonment each - both from the village of Beleg near
Deçan. Nexhat Ramiz Xhemajli (1949) and Avni Sadri Haklaj (23) -
both from the village of Isniq near Deçan were released due to the
lack of evidence. The above mentioned had been indicted for "hostile activity"
and "terrorism".
GJAKOVA: The corpse of Tunë Gjokaj from
the village of Bardhaniq was found at the place called "Lluga e Shterzës".
Tuna had been reported missing. There are still no information on the whereabouts
of Tuna's wife. The corpse of an unidentified person from the village of
Prejlep near Deçan was brought to the morgue of the Gjakova Hospital.
Large police forces were stationed in Dujaka.
These forces are parading through the village and ill-treating the villagers.
The situation of the displaced persons, who were settled in Dujaka (1400),
is very grave. Lekë (42) and Kristë Përvorfi (30) as well
as Isë Rrustemi (55) from the village of Dujaka were arrested and
taken to the police station in Gjakova.
MITROVICA: Serb forces opened fire towards the
village of Zhazha. Serb villagers from Vllaqa and Zherovnica participated
in the attack. Police forces have not withdrawn from their check-points
in Shipol and Vojtesh, on the road between Mitrovica and Peja. Fresh forces
were redeployed in Tërnavc and Kodra e Baranëve.
SUHAREKA: Serbian police forces have not removed
their check-points from Reshtan, Bllaca and Mohlan. The villagers of Samadraxha
were told not to remove the sacks with sand as the policemen would soon
be back. After 60 days of detention, Bafti Murtez Musaj (70), who was kept
hostage in his house in Samadraxha, was released. Gëzim Muhamet Krasniqi
(1960) from Samadraxha is in detention in the prison in Leskovc. He was
kidnapped on September 25 in the village of Zojz. Serb policemen are parading
through the streets of the town and are ill-treating passers-by. The situation
of those who had to flee their homes is very grave, as they have no shelter,
due to the lack of food, clothing and medical assistance.
RAHOVEC: Serbian police is withdrawing from the
town and is being redeployed in the "Park" Hotel. In the outskirts of the
town, Serb forces are digging in their tanks with their barrels pointed
towards the Albanian quarters in Rahovec. As the Serb forces withdrew from
the police check-point at the place called "Rrasat" they looted and demolished
the house of Muharrem Isma, in which they had been settled until then.
Refki Kadri Kabashi from the village of Zoqishta is in pre-trial detention
in Prokupla. He was kidnapped by the Serbian forces on September 28.
KLINA: The Serbian forces which have withdrawn
from the check-points in Dollc, Kijeva, Pogragja and Jashanica were redeployed
in the vicinity of the forests of Gllareva. Serbian military forces are
still stationed in their basis in Gremnik, in the sour cherry plantation
and at the place called "Kroi i Hajnave" in the vicinity of Klina. The
villages of Përçeva, Sverka and Ponorc are shelled night after
night. During the night, Serb civilians from Rixheva, Grapc and Klinac
are opening automatic fire in different directions.
FERIZAJ: Large paramilitary forces were stationed
in the military barracks in Ferizaj. Serb forces have not withdrawn from
their positions.
GJILAN: Tahir Tahiri, chairman of the LDK branch
in Gjilan, was arrested by the Serbian police. The pretext is unknown.
OCTOBER 28:
GJAKOVA: Zef Dreni (65) was killed in his house
in the village of Firza. His son Pjetër was beaten and suffered severe
body injuries. The perpetrators were armed and masked and spoke Serbian.
GLLOGOC: The mutilated corpse of Rrahman Islam
Gashi (60) from the village of Llapushnik was found. He was killed between
September 22-27. His corpse was decomposing.
KLINA: The corpse of Shahe Haxhë Gashi (78)
was found in her house in the village of Qabiq. The victim had not managed
to flee the village. In the village of Zajm, a Serb policeman and 2 Romani
civilians seized a tractor and the building material from Rexhep Zogaj's
warehouse.
MALISHEVA: The mutilated corpse of Latif Ahmet
Javori (78) from the village of Vërmica was found. He was killed by
the Serbian forces.
MITROVICA: Last night, the Serb forces stationed
in the military bases in Kutllovc and Stantërg opened automatic fire
on the villages of: Trepçalia, Melenica, Mazhiq, Vidishiq and Bare
as well as on the "Kroi i Vitakut" quarter in Mitrovica. In Stantërg,
Serbian police stopped a group of Albanian villagers from Shala e Bajgorës
who were returning to their homes. One of the villagers was severely ill-treated.
SUHAREKA: Serb forces are not withdrawing from
their positions. Heavy weaponry is not being pulled out of the region.
Serb forces are still stationed in Duhla, Mohlan, Krushica e Poshtme, Reshtan
and in the Llapushniku Gorge. The displaced people are afraid of returning
to their houses. Large police forces were stationed in Qafa e Duhles, Biraç,
Sopija and Grejkoc. Passers-by are being ill-treated. The gas station in
Shiroka was burned and demolished.
KAÇANIK: The Serbian police and military
forces stationed in Doganaj have not withdrawn from their positions. The
number of the policemen in the town itself has increased. Many passers-by
are ill-treated. Nexhmedin Kryeziu was severely ill-treated by a policeman
named Oliver.
LIPJAN: Large Serb forces were noticed in the
vicinity of Blinaja. Heavy weaponry was camouflaged.
PRISHTINA: Myrvete Kasumi, the sister of MA Ukshin
Hoti, stated that when she visited her brother in the prison of Mitrovica
e Sremit, on September 25, the guard interrupted the visit after 2 minutes
as Ukshin refused to talk in Serbian. During the short discussion with
his sister, Ukshin asked her to appeal to all international organizations
on human rights to make pressure on the Serbian authorities for a humane
treatment of the Albanian political prisoners and the respect of legal
norms. The Albanian political prisoners are subjected to severe ill-treatment,
kept in solitary, are not allowed to read the press and to communicate
with the world. Recently, they were ordered to communicate in Serbian with
their relatives during their visits.
A passenger, who introduced himself as a pilot,
beat Idriz Ahmeti, a taxi driver, when the latter refused to take him to
the Prishtina airport for free.
PEJA: As the Serb forces withdrew, the corpse
of Ramë Haxhi Krasniqi, a handicapped person, was found in his house
in the village of Turjaka. Rama was killed on August 30. In Zahaq, police
arrested Milaim Çekaj (31) from the village of Irzniq near Deçan.
The Serbian run District Court in Peja sentenced Ukë Golaj from the
village of Sheremet to 2 years of imprisonment. He was indicted for "hostile
activity" and "terrorism". The trial of the following Albanians from the
village of Brekoc near Gjakova began: Fadil, Qerim, Burim, Valdet, Kastriot,
Agim, Avdyl, Mustafë, Kujtim, Flamur, Behar, Zenel and Adem Jetishi.
Traffic policemen are stopping, ill-treating and fining many Albanian drivers.
FUSHË KOSOVA: In Graboc i Poshtëm,
police forces continue to loot Albanian houses.
PRIZREN: The Serbian run District Court in Prizren extended, for an additional 60 days, the pretrial detention of the 120 Albanians from the district of Suhareka who were arrested during the recent Serbian offensive.
OCTOBER 29:
GJAKOVA: The following died due to the difficult
living conditions in the open: Sadri Azem Ahmeti (4 months), Avdi Fetaj
(9 months), the daughter of Enver Alia, Jahë Kadria (18 months), Rabe
Pajaziti (80) and Galan Meka (65) - all from Krelan. The following Albanians
from the village of Krelan were wounded due to shelling: Faze Meka (30),
Ali Fetaj (36), Pajazit Pajaziti (33), Vehbi Ilaz Ahmeti (14), Hasan Mustafë
Alijaj (23) and Bashkim Ahmetaj (23).
MALISHEVA: In the village of Mleçan, the
corpse of Sherif Kryeziu (30) was found in the well near his house. He
had been reported missing since July 26. The corpse of an unidentified
person was found in Bubavec.
SKËNDERAJ: The corpse of Musa Shyqeri Ahmeti
(27) from the village of Radisheva was found in Qubrel. He had been reported
missing since July 26, the day when the Serb forces killed his father.
Armed Serb civilians from Suhogërlla opened fire towards Xhemile Haxhi
Hyseni-Rama (45), Hafize Musa Ferizi-Rama (55), Hajrije Milazim Mulaj-Rama
(42) and Xhevrije Rrahim Rama (23). The above mentioned were prevented
from returning to their destroyed houses.
DEÇAN: At 10.30 a.m., a large number of
Serb soldiers attacked a group of Albanian villagers who were collecting
chestnuts in the forests of Lebusha. Jeton Zeqiraj (16) was brutally beaten
and lapsed into a coma. Mërgim (16) and Time Zeqiraj (40) were beaten
too. The golden jewelry belonging to the latter was looted. Saranda Zeqiraj
(17) was taken by the soldiers and there are still no information on her
whereabouts. Since early in the morning, these forces are harassing the
Albanian villagers in this region.
PRISHTINA: Many Albanians, including women, children
and elderly, who were wounded during the Serb offensive on the villages
in the district of Deçan, are being kept in detention at the Prishtina
Hospital for Lung Diseases. The detainees are guarded by the police. All
contacts with the Albanian medical staff are prevented. Between 1-3 a.m.,
they are brutally beaten by the police. No medical assistance is given
to them. The wounded are fed only once a day.
KLINA: Fire was opened towards an Albanian family
who was trying to return to Gllareva. They fled to Ujmir.
MITROVICA: A military helicopter flew over the
town. A truck loaded with sand headed for Skënderaj. No police check-points
were removed. In the "Qendra" quarter, police raided the house of Sokol
Adem Tahiri (66). His guest Enver Ahmet Gjeloshi (36) from the village
of Qubrel near Skënderaj was arrested.
PRIZREN: In Dushanova, some 50 policemen intervened
in the cafe owned by Hajdin Mazreku. Some 20 clients were ill-treated.
A muslim waitress named Matilda was slapped on her face and insulted on
a national basis.
ZHUR: Bashkim Likaj from Lybeqeva, member of
the "Mother Theresa" Humanitarian & Charitable Association, was arrested.
SHTIME: A Serb convoy of 7 tanks, 2 APCs and
4 trucks headed towards Carraleva.
In the outskirts of Shtime, unidentified persons
killed Nazmi Olluri (1973). According to Serb authorities, Nazmi was a
"loyal citizen of Serbia".
OCTOBER 30:
SKËNDERAJ: The corpses of following were
found in a mass grave in the village of Llausha: Fatime (75) and Mevlude
Geci (45), handicapped, from Llausha, Hamide Taraku (51) from Vitak, a
mother of 8, and the carbonized corpse of an unidentified male person.
It is assumed that there are many other locations similar to this one.
Members of the KDOM were present during the exhumation.
GLLOGOC: The corpses of Hysen Ahmet Bujupi (62)
and Lulzim Bujupi (35) were found in the Bujupaj quarter in Orllat. They
were killed on July 25.
KLINA: Serb forces are still stationed in the
vicinity of the Volljaka mines, at the place called "Zabeli i Hoxhës",
in the vicinity of the Gremniku mountains, in the Mirusha Gorge and at
the sour cherry plantations. Time after time, these forces open fire to
provoke and to prevent the villagers from returning to their homes. Armed
Serb civilians are parading through the center of Klina.
GJAKOVA: Serb forces have not withdrawn from
Suka e Cërmjanit and Suka e Necit. Large forces are stationed in the
premises of the primary school in Krelan. The Serb forces which had withdrawn
from the villages of Maznik and Dashinovc returned to their old positions.
No displaced people have returned to these villages.
SUHAREKA: Serb forces have not withdrawn from
many villages in the district of Suhareka. A patrol of the Serbian police
and military forces paraded through the villages of Bukosh and Vraniq and
opened fire towards the Albanian houses. In Bukosh, several bombs were
thrown in the house yard of Nuhi Sopa. This attack forced the villagers
of Bukosh to flee and to seek shelter in nearby places. There is a feeling
of insecurity among the villagers of Vraniq who had started to return to
their houses.
PRIZREN: In the vicinity of the village of Kushnin,
in the Pashtriku mountains, Serb soldiers are building a new watchtower.
Mines were laid in the region of Has, along the border between Kosova and
Albania. The redeployment of Serb military forces continues in the Pnishi
and Muhadri quarters in Demjan. Large forces were stationed in the premises
of the primary school. In Vlashnja, a squad of 12 armed policemen arrested
6 Albanian youngsters and sent them to the police station in Prizren.
RAHOVEC: The number of the police forces in the
district of Rahovec has slightly decreased. Apart from Rahovec, Serb forces
were stationed in Xërxa and Ratkoc.
GJILAN: In the village of Vërbica e Kmetocit,
police searched for weapons in the house of Tefik Hashani (60). His son
is in pre-trial detention since October 15.
HANI I ELEZIT: Serb soldiers physically ill-treated
Refik R. Luri without any cause.
ZHUR: In Vlashnja, 5 Serb policemen went into
the shop of Driton Tarashaj and physically ill-treated him. Police arrested
Ahmet Maxhunaj and Selver Rrahmanaj from Kobaja.
MALISHEVA: KLA members arrested Jakup Kastrati,
chairman, and Cen Desku, member of the LDK Board in Malisheva. The pretext
is unknown.
OCTOBER 31:
DEÇAN: In Junik, Serb forces unburied 9
Albanian corpses and took them to an unknown direction. The killed ones
were identified as: Bekim Shala (48) from Ferizaj, Bedri Shala (50) from
Negroc (Gllogoc), Përmet Vula (20) and Elton Zherka (21) from Gjakova,
Bajram Rama (70), Zejnije Krasniqi (27), a 12-year-old girl and two other
children - all from Junik.
Today, it was confirmed that on June 6, in Junik,
Serb forces killed Shaban Zeqë Mazrrekaj (1968) from Voksh.
PRISHTINA: Large special police units were stationed
along the road between Prishtina and Peja.
PEJA: An armoured car and 10 policemen were stationed
in the village of Gllogjan in Lugu i Baranit. They are opening fire towards
Jabllanica. Police beat Ali Hoxha, a khoja in the village of Kosuriq. He
and his family were trying to return to their house. SUHAREKA: There was
shooting in Delloc, where large Serb forces are still stationed. Incessant
fire is opened from Qafa e Duhlës towards Grejçec and Bllaca.
A police patrol in three vehicles went towards Sallagrazhda. They stopped
and ill-treated passers-by.
OBILIQ: Serb forces were stationed in several
positions in the vicinity of "Kërshat e Grabovcit". They opened fire
and burned the house of Daut Rasim Mjekiqi in Shipitulla and the primary
schools in Grabovc i Epërm and Shipitulla. Serb forces stationed in
"Kërshat e Grabovcit", Janovoda, the "Kosova B" Power Plant and Plemetin
are targeting Grabovc i Epërm, Shipitulla, Sibovc, Lajthishta and
Hamidia.
PRIZREN: The Serb forces are still stationed
in Dobrusht. 5 km from the border between Kosova and Albania, a plate with
the inscription "Border zone" was placed. This zone includes the villages
of Dobrusht, Shkoza and Vërmica.
KAÇANIK: Serb military forces are still
stationed in the vicinity of Bajnica village and the "Silcapor" Plant.
Heavy weaponry was dug in. Large police and military forces were stationed
in Semaja near Kaçanik. Many locals have fled due to insecurity.
FERIZAJ: A police convoy with two trucks, an
APC and a police vehicle headed towards Shtime.
RAHOVEC: Blerim and Agim Kabashi from Opterusha
and several other Albanian families, who were trying to return to their
homes, hit "booby traps" and went back. Serb forces are still stationed
in Opterusha.
MALISHEVA: There was shooting in Malisheva and
its surroundings. Due to the large presence of Serbian police forces, many
displaced people fear to return to their houses.
DELAYED INFORMATION:
GLLOGOC: Between August 22-25, Serbian forces
looted and burned the house and the real estate of Avdyl Gara (1944) in
Komoran. On September 22, Serbian forces burned 2 houses and the real estate
of the Kukiqi family in the village of Tërstenik. The very same was
done to the houses of Zenel Musli Kadishani (1933), Ramadan Kukaj (1947),
Naser (1967), Muharrem and Sefer Gashi. On September 25, Serbian forces
burned the houses of Ajet Zariqi (1956) and Ramadan Zarishti (1954) from
Bainca. On September 27, the house of Shaban Tahiraj (1924) in the village
of Tërdec was burned.
LIPJAN: On August 23, during the Serb offensive
on the village of Vërshec, Serb forces looted and burned 5 houses,
the shop, work-shop, agricultural equipment, 2 cars and the real estate
of Ramadan Nishori. The very same was done to the houses and the real estate
of brothers Ilaz, Brahim and Adem Sadik Vuniqi and their relatives Fehmi,
Elmi, Kadri and Fehmi Vuniqi. On August 23, in the village of Magura, Serb
forces looted and burned the real estate of Milaim Meta (1971), on August
27, that of Hysen Meta and on September 17, that of brothers Shefki and
Behxhet Karameta.
OBILIQ: On September 22, during the Serb offensive
on the villages of Obiliq, Serb forces shelled, demolished, looted and
burned the houses of Xhafer, Faik, Shaip, Jakup, Metush, Muharrem, Feriz,
Ramiz, Isak, Ismet, Idriz, Abdullah, Ramadan, Fejzullah, Daut, Mustafë,
Lutfi, Ismajl, Nuhi, Hasan, Ali, Hajrullah, Abdurrahim and Bedri Krasniqi;
Bajram and Ejup Krasniqi and Hashim, Ramadan, Sabit and Rasim Mexhuani.
PEJA: In September, Serb forces shelled, looted
and burned the real estate of Maxhun Hysenaj (1942) in the village of Kotradiq.
The following were arrested by the Serbian police: on October 17, Feti,
Shaqir and Selim Gashi and on October 19, Isë M. Gashi - all from
Kryshec. On October 20, Nazmi N. Shala (46) was severely ill-treated by
the Serbian police. The very same day, in the outskirts of Peja, Serbian
police arrested Ramiz S. Krasniqi from Vranoc.
SKËNDERAJ: On October 10, Hajdin Kukiqi
(72) and Fazli Gashi (45) from Tërstenik were wounded due to shelling.
ZHUR: On October 10, Serbian police went to the
house of Imerli Qovanaj, an activist of the Sub-CDHRF in Zhur. This is
the second time police searches for him. Military forces were stationed
at the place called Vllagu i Madh.
KLINA: On October 12, Nebi Bytyqi (1962) from
Carralluka e Klinës was released from the Prishtina Prison. He had
been detained for more than 2 months and physically ill-treated. On October
23, masked Serb civilians looted the vacant house of Bedri Gashi in Klina.
GJILAN: On October 17, Bislim Bajraktari (1937)
from the village of Resnik near Klina, who was sheltered in the house of
Hajredin Ramadani, "Mon Beqiri" st. 12/18, was arrested. He was detained
for more than 4 hours, severely ill-treated and ordered to leave the town.
RAHOVEC: On October 19, Serbian police stopped
Astrit Ramsha (1982), pupil with the "Ramiz Sadiku" Secondary School. He
was forced into the "Park" Hotel and brutally beaten. Due to injuries suffered
he had to seek for medical help.
MITROVICA: On October 23, 3 policemen severely
ill-treated Halit Ramadan Islami (21) from Kçiq i Vogël, living
in the "Tuneli i Parë" quarter in Mitrovica. Dinars 200 and 3 boxes
of cigarettes were looted from him.
VUSHTRRI: On October 23, in the vicinity of the
bus station in Vushtrria, Serbian police severely ill-treated Shaip (45),
Ferki (18) and Bledar Kovaçi (15) and Emin Muzaçi (18) -
all from Brusnik.
NOTICE: There are no information on the whereabouts of the following: Abaz Demir Ndrecaj (60) from Maçiteva near Suhareka (since July 26); Habib Halil Lubovci (19) since July 27 and Shefqet Seferi (1976) since June - from Grejçec near Suhareka; Zeqir Ukë Gashi from Broliq near Peja (since September 30); Fadil Sefijaj (30) from Gramaçel near Deçan; Bajram Ali Kryeziu (1929) from Bubavec near Malisheva (since July 27); Agim Selmani (1965) and Selman Syla (1930) from Carraleva near Shtime (since July 20); Sefedin Halil Kryeziu (25) from Mleçan near Malisheva (since September); Musa Mehmet Kukleci (since October 23) and Shkëlzen and Selman Zukaj (for the last 2 weeks) - all 3 from Isniq near Deçan; Idriz Zeqë Tolaj from Pobërgja near Deçan (since May); Muhamet Pervizi (27) from Krajku i Hasit near Prizren (for the last 3 months); Osman Guncati (23) from Kijeva near Malisheva (for the last 3 months); Hasan Xhemë Krasniqi (43) from Llazica near Malisheva (for the last few days); Haki Baca (25) from Gremnik near Klina (since May 20).
